In this lesson, you will continue practicing the future with will, but now you will focus on the negative (won't) and questions (Will). You will see how it is used to make promises of peace and security, as in Isaiah 11:9, where it is prophesied that animals will not hurt or destroy on the holy mountain. You will practice asking questions about the future and denying future actions. By the end, you will be able to make promises and ask questions about the future with confidence.

Para hacer preguntas, invertimos el orden: Will + sujeto + verbo base?

Respuestas cortas: Yes, they will. / No, they won't. Yes, I will. / No, I won't.

Reglas clave:
  • Negativo: won't + verbo base (sin -s, sin -ed)
  • Pregunta: Will + sujeto + verbo base?
  • Will no cambia con el sujeto.
  • Usamos will para promesas, predicciones y decisiones espontáneas.
En contexto bíblico: En Isaías 11:9, la profecía promete que en el reino de paz, los animales no dañarán ni destruirán. Esta es una promesa de restauración que se cumple en el futuro.
