In this lesson, you will learn to use superlatives to say which thing is the greatest, the best, the most important, etc. Superlatives compare three or more things. You will see how they are formed: the + adjective + -est for short adjectives (great → the greatest), and the most + adjective for long adjectives (beautiful → the most beautiful). You will also learn the irregulars: good → the best, bad → the worst. You will practice with the verse: "The greatest of these is love" (1 Corinthians 13:13).
